Introduction

The Laboratory for Quantum Information and Intelligent Computing (QuI2C), established in the School of Electronic Information Engineering at Anhui University, currently has one professor and one associate professor serving as a doctoral supervisor and one master's supervisor. QuI2C focuses on key technologies in secure communications and intelligent computing, empowered by quantum information technology, by tackling international scientific and technological frontiers, addressing major national strategic needs, addressing key economic challenges, and addressing public health. The laboratory's research interests currently encompass four areas: quantum communication and networking, quantum computing theory and optimization, quantum artificial intelligence, and artificial intelligence security. The quantum communication and networking area explores the use of quantum mechanics to achieve secure and efficient information transmission and network construction, with the goal of building a global quantum internet that is impervious to eavesdropping and hacking. The quantum computing theory and optimization area explores the mathematical foundations and algorithmic design of quantum computing, aiming to develop more efficient and powerful quantum algorithms and optimize their execution on quantum computers, ultimately solving complex problems that are intractable to classical computing. The quantum artificial intelligence area explores and utilizes quantum computing to accelerate and improve artificial intelligence algorithms, while also leveraging artificial intelligence to assist in quantum algorithm design. The goal is to build more powerful and efficient intelligent systems and solve complex problems that are intractable to classical AI. Artificial intelligence security.
